So it has been a while since I have posted anything but life has been pretty busy, I did however get a few little projects done. Some exciting news for us is that we are having a baby due in June, we will find out whether it is a boy or a girl monday the 7th of Feb. We also got a new horse named Callie, she is a registered quarter horse which is actually trained to ride unlike our other two. I cannot ride right now so we have a 12 year old girl ride her 2 times a week for us. She takes lessons once a week at a nice arena across state street from us which is really close, and the other day she rides at the arena just for fun. I am so thankful that Callie will be rideable when I am ready. Ned is working with our Buckskin horse Fresca 1-2 times a week with a lady that is teaching him at the highland arena, and I get to sit in my camp chair and watch and occasionally put a few words in. He is doing so well with her, and I can tell he is getting more confident, can't wait till he can learn to ride her. They make a great team, and he is pretty fond of her. We also got a new puppy named spike, he is a registered mini dachshund, dapple in color and really lives up to the word mini. He is so tiny and probably wont get much bigger if any at all. He is currently smaller than our Chiweenie Ellie which is really great. Our plan is to stud him out, I was a little worried because his mom was 14 lbs but his dad was small so he had a 50/50 chance of being huge. I think we will be able to charge around $200 for his stud fee because of his size.
